Averaged 10 pts 8 rebounds and 2 assisted in 23 minutes per game. Those are impressive stats in that amount of minutes. Even if they are concerned he won't be able to play 35 minutes, that's about as good of a bench performance as you get. At 6 mil with the cap bump he's a monster steal.

Traded to Phoenix Suns! PJ Tucker, for Sully and 2 second round picks. Hope Sully sticks with the Suns, as there is a chance they buy him out.

Not looking great for Jared....his body has failed him in the NBA. Between the back issues, ability to stay in playing shape, his size as a PF/C......it's not currently looking good.

If he could take some time, get his body right, and come back next year sharp and ready to play, maybe he finds a way to stick on a roster.

I'm surprised he hasn't taken his conditioning seriously yet. He's going to be out of the league pretty soon if he doesn't.

It's hard with his physical issues. Terrible back, poor posture created by his leg length discrepancy, and he's already undersized and slow footed for the NBA.

If he could get relatively healthy I think he could stick around as a serviceable back-up 4/5 for a slower paced team. As it stands today, he just doesnt have the physical ability to make a difference for anyone.

It's also really difficult for him to stay in decent shape when he gets sidelined for long periods of time. He doesn't exactly carry his weight well....

Phoenix Suns waive Mike Scott, Jared Sullinger; sign Ronnie Price
Feb 24, 2017 7:11 PM ET

CHICAGO (AP) -- The Phoenix Suns waived forward Mike Scott and center/forward Jared Sullinger on Friday, a day after acquiring them in trades.

The Suns also signed guard Ronnie Price for the rest of the season. In his third tenure with the team, the 33-year-old Price has made two appearances since signing the first of two 10-day contracts Jan. 27.

On Thursday at the trade deadline, Phoenix got Sullinger and a pair of second-round picks from Toronto for forward P.J. Tucker, and acquired Scott, the rights to guard Cenk Akyol and cash considerations from Atlanta for a second-round pick.

The Suns faced the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
