Phil Jurkovec (QB Notre Dame, transfer to Boston College)

Phil's father Jim Jurkovec was impressed by the Ohio State coaches on his visit to Columbus. Says they're a first class group & very competitive.

Notre Dame & Pitt are going to be tough to beat, especially the Fighting Irish, but it doesn't seem like Phil is in any rush to decide at the moment.

BG $ - Jurkovec weighs in on Urban Meyer

Phil says tOSU is among the schools recruiting him the hardest, specifically Coaches Meyer & Beck. He likes that Coach Meyer is very upfront with him & has spent a great deal of time focusing on him personally.

Cannon. One of the stronger arms I have seen at the HS level. I like the recent optimism and while I think we have some work to do, we are a player here for sure. Would love to see Jurkovec in our '18 class.

I stand by what I said earlier. Regardless of what is said, done, opined, inferred, guessed, hoped, etc., a crystal ball for OSU is comical. Again, anything can change but I am telling you this is over as it stands NOW. Key of course is NOW. Could the Meyer train derail this plan? Anything is possible I suppose and I hope he pulls it out.

Right now, the farm is bet on ND. I stay with that until I hear differently. I am still laughing over the "crystal ball " projection to OSU. Whomever did that is simply grasping at straws, and hoping beyond hope. It's a bad look because I know he has no information to warrant that other than a "gut" feel or something.

I'd say don't get your hopes up but it won't do any good I suppose. If I change my "personal crystal ball", then get excited. Just sayin.

Edit*. If Meyer can pull this off - it may be one of the greatest gets of all time. Only referring to how far this would have had to swing to get that done.

Wiltfong made his prediction based on talking with Jurkovec this past weekend as well as those close to him. What are your sources for feeling differently?
