Game Thread Players Of The Game - Illinois Edition

New "feature" that I'm going to start running after each Ohio State game. Pick 1 player on O & 1 Player on D (add discussion as to why, if you want) as your players of the game and we'll tally them up at the end of the year. Obviously we got a late start this year, but thought it would be interesting anyway.....

Braxton Miller - 13/29, 150yds, 2 TDs ; 16 rushes, 184yds, 1 TD
Carlos Hyde - 24 rushes, 246 yards, 4 TDs ; 2 rec, 26yds, 1 TD
Jack Mewhort - Battled knee injury & opened some huge holes for the running game
Philly Brown - 7 rec, 49yds, 1 TD ; 6 returns, 16yds

Joey Bosa - 4 tackles (3 solo), 2.5 sacks
Ryan Shazier - 16 tackles (11 solo), 1.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble
Bradley Roby - 6 tackles (4 solo), 1 INT, 1 TD, 1 Break Up
CJ Barnett - 14 tackles (10 solo), 1 INT, 1 Break Up

Bosa sacked Scheelwhatever along with an OL. Just disruptive all day. While being held more than a newborn.

Also, maybe the OL could count as one player? I mean, it's hard to single out a single lineman, but when El_Guapo gets 2fitty, they're all doing work.

Yeah I really wanted to vote for him, but there was a few times Carlos opened his own damn hole. And it would've been hard to give it to the OL when Hyde had his first negative yardage of the season against that D.
