Poor HD video playback

RCollett

Gazillion!
Alright guys I need pointed in the right direction. I have downloaded some HD video, highlight clips from the bucks and some of the full games, and the playback is delayed. The audio will run fine but the video is either extremely slow or choppy. My entire system slows down when this happens as well. Do I just need a new driver, more RAM or what??

thanks

I am running media player 10. The slowness happens with the video I view on media player. Almost like it is a slow motion clip, but the audio still runs full speed. Only the audio plays when I am using quicktime. My system is about 2 1/2 years old with 2 gigs of RAM. Do I just need to put in a new video card?

Where did you get the videos. I'll download them and try them myself.

Make sure you right click and save link as to download the clip.
Rent-A-Clown
Make sure you right click and save link as to download the clip.

Here is one of the vids. It is a link to the knew batman teaser trailer. I downloaded it and tried to play it through quicktime and thats when I had the problems. The other vids were clips I downloaded from BP. They intro from tsun game; and the gonzo catch, and teddy punt return from the MSU game. I can not find them on BP now.

Hey thank you guys for your help!

You need to right click the link and save target as. It is a quicktime video. If you just click the link it takes you to some site created by the producers of the movie made to confuse everyone and take you no where.

Thats odd. Its works for me. Well anyway. If I go to yahoo movies and try to view any of their HD trailers I get the same result.

It just keeps trying to save the website for rent-a-clown to my HD. If I hover over it, it gives the address of a video. As soon as I try to right click and "Save As", it reverts to an HTML document.
