And just how was RP an embaressment as a FB player? As far as tit for tat comparing an embaressment as a FB player to being an embaressing human being well that is NOT EVEN CLOSE! Sort of like comparing a pile of shit to a pile of gold....

well lets just stop and use our brains for one minute shall we? powlus won 0 heismans in how many years? was a candidate how many times?

compared to clarett who didnt win the heisman for the sole reason of being a dipshit (hey you 2 can relate!) and leaving school after 1 year. in that 1 year he was a heisman candidate halfway through the season as a freshman (before getting hurt).

are you going to tell me clarett didnt have the ability to win the heisman had he stayed in school?

Ok. We'll start with someone in the Top 5 but definitely not tOSU's "best"

Craig Krenzel-- 24-3 as a starter
Ron Powlus---- 30-17-1 as a starter

With 21 additional games, Im sure the numbers are skewed, however, I cannot think of a better stat than W/L in this argument.

Would you like to compare the classroom also?

Chief, its all good, but I really think you are stretching here. Comparing Powlus to tOSU's best is a losing battle. Now if you want to look at Steve Bellisari...you might have a point.

Don't let your frustration in this thread cloud your logic.

nobody is comparing them as good citizens. actually.....scratch that. we all are. we all gave him credit for being better than clarett off the field. youre the moron who wanted to get into the argument about who was better on the field.

I just gave you a very classy player as an example even though the argument started as a comparison between MoC and RP on the field.

One big game. Powlus or Krenzel? I take CK everyday of the week and twice on sunday.

Anyway...let's get back to numbers...

Ron Powlus (Career) 568/969 7602 52 TD 27 INT 30-17-1

Bobby Hoying (Career) 498/858 7232 57 TD 35 INT 30-7-1

Pretty similar consider Hoying played in 10 less games:roll2:

He did throw more INTs, but his win % is much higher.
