QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

Stroud now has +350 (7/2) odds to win the Heisman Trophy, up from +800 (8/1) last week. The jump vaults him to second place, behind only Alabama's Bryce Young, who has +160 (8/5) odds, according to BetOnline.ag.

Stroud's performance this week lifted him over Ole Miss' Matt Corral, who was last week's frontrunner with +175 odds (7/4), but saw his odds dip to +400 (4/1) this week.

Good News

Due to Coastal Carolina quarterback Grayson McCall's "bad" game tonight, CJ Stroud is now within striking distance of taking over first place in passing efficiency this weekend.

McCall's passing efficiency for the season went down to 225.83 this evening.

If CJ throws 20 for 25 for 768 yards and 8 touchdowns against Indiana, that will bring his passing efficiency to 225.84.

Let's go CJ

Last week, CJ didn't quite hit the numbers that he needed to take the number one spot in passing efficiency for games against FBS competition. He did close the gap a little though, making this week's goal easier to reach.

All he needs this week is 25 for 30 for 747 yards and only 6 touchdowns. If he adds just one completion while leaving all other numbers the same, it would be enough to take the lead for all games, not just for FBS games.

Does that factor in McCall’s numbers from last night?
