QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

Stanley Jackson showed a graphic on BTN last week that showed the defensive ranking of Oklahoma's opponents compared to tOSU's opponents. It wasn't even close, so Murray faced much easier opposition than Haskins did. That's the best factor in Haskins' favor, and almost nobody has seen it.

Murray winning will give Oklahoma 7 Heisman Trophies, tying them with tOSU, ND, and USC if you count Reggie Bush's.

On a good note, assuming Murray wins and then leaves for baseball, at least nobody will win two straight - I've been dreading for most of the year that Tua might match Archie's singular accomplishment.

Kyler played the following defenses and their rankings (Texas Tech 111, UCLA 105, OK St 99, FAU 90, Kansas 80, Baylor 77, WVU 74, K-State 73, Texas twice 68)

My hunch is they'll give it to Tua, because Bama and undefeated. I don't expect most of them are digging through stats like the ones posted here - more of a feelz vote. :roll1:

That said...

Your point's well taken. I personally wouldn't care if nobody at OSU ever won the Heisman again. It's been nothing but trouble to a lot of the winners, without going into details. That being said, nobody deserves it more than Dwayne. If he wins, great. If not, he's no worse off. :oh:

I'm guessing Kyler. If Tua wins it, we'll know all those people cast their vote having not seen the SEC CG. But no doubt, they only invited Haskins as an afterthought.
The real crime are the other personal awards... the O'Brien should have been Haskins on lockdown. It's a joke.

He's going to make some NFL team and coaching staff a shit ton of accolades... Browns had the #1 two years in a row and timed it one year off.

Yeah, the fact that he wasn't recognized at all was a real slap in the face. Murray is a good guess, but I have to go with Tua, just because of the eternal swooning over the SEC in general and Bama in particular. Haskins shouldn't let it bother him, though. In the long run, it didn't bother Mr. Brady.
