QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

I hope the Bengals do draft him. However, he said the farther down in draft the better team and the next contract he owns the bank.

Bengals are not good and Mike Brown is a cheap bag of dicks. That's what I meant.

I got that. My question was more a general one to any Bengals fans to see what they think. Are Bengals fans okay with that? Would they rather use the 1st on a different position and be content with Dalton? I can’t imagine many are.

Clearly when you get to the Bengals, the terms “the better the team” go out the window.

We have seen Dalton is not the answer, but the Bengals front office keeps putting them behind the 8-ball with signing shitty O-linemen. I would be content with drafting Haskins if they let him sit the first year and learn the game. It would give me another reason behind Hubbard and Price.

OK, why is he (reportedly) droppng in the draft?

Accuracy apparently. Heard reports that his accuracy at pro day wasn’t great. The report could be wrong/right, I don’t know. What I do know is that it’s ridiculous that he’s dropping because there is far more evidence of him being a rock solid QB.

And for the record, we don’t know he’s actually dropping. The next NFL team’s draft board that someone sees will be the first.

Maybe I see conspiracies behind every tree, but could this be 'dis-information'? Cannot believe that these pro drafters take out newspaper articles about who they're going to draft.....probably kept more secretly than nuclear launch codes. Said another way, maybe a red herring, hoping that the team ahead of them would hesitate, take someone else, and then XYZ team could swoop in and grab Dwayne. Or, taking a line from 'Draft Day', where Costner says that the Seahawks could still get the QB of their dreams, but at $5,000,000 less.
