Really impressed with his play yesterday. I know some may try to pawn it off as "it was only Akron", but I was impressed. Didn't force anything & took what the defense gave him. As long as we continue to have solid O-Line play & he limits mistakes, I'm very confident for the remainder of the season

We finally saw growth out of Joe, which was very encouraging. He doesn't need to be a great quarterback, he needs to establish himself as a solid one.

Handle the pocket, hit the underneath throws accurately and decisively, use his great weapons at TE, take a few chances downfield properly.

Just to chime in, I'm really pumped with Joe's play yesterday. Regardless of the opponent, his throws were on the money and he looked really composed. I was waiting for Miller before the game and forgot that he hadn't been in. Great job Joe.

Kudos also to the receivers who were wide open most of the day...

I thought he did well, but he wasn't really forced to make any plays other than the busted scramble in the 1st. It will be interesting to see him make more throws. The one throw he threw downfield should have been picked.
I was impressed by his poise and comfort in there.
