QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

Very true. From Troy on, QB play has improved at the collegiate level. I shudder to think what would've happened had we not landed Pryor...
Hard to say, but fun to consider. It certainly means Boeckman for the rest of 2008. After that, it gets murky. Robby Shoenhoft and Antonio Henton were both well-regarded recruits. I don't remember exactly what year Robby left, or recall when Antonio ran into his issues, but chances are one of them may have got a shot. Antonio, in fact, was actually featured in an SI article for young players to watch in 2006 (see link below). Neither were remotely as dynamic as TP, so 2009-10 could have been much less successful. Of course, if TP didn't come, who knows who they may have pursued/landed in his stead.

Still waiting to unleash Henton against LSU.

Burrow/Haskins will be interesting. JB's poise and accuracy in the spring and his PT this season have been as advertised and his running ability has been a value-added bonus. He would seem to be in the Alex Smith mold of UFM's QBs. I haven't seen DH but reports are that he is the same time of QB. I'm looking forward to seeing what the offense can be like with an accurate, throw-first sort of guy who can run enough to keep defenses honest.

I don't know why but that pic of him in that shirt just absolutely kills me and makes me like the dude a bunch.

For some reason I think the guy must be super confident or something. I recall his comments after the spring game I believe when he
said something to the effect that afterwards he knew he could play on the D1 level.

I think the guy could be the one who quietly makes the other QBs on staff and incoming QBs sweat over how they will see the field. I think he could be that good. The lowest rated QB that keeps everyone else from getting on to the field. I wouldn't be the LEAST surprised
