QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Fields should do everything possible to escape the Jets. I think he lands somewhere from 3-12. Justin Fields checks all the boxes. The NFL can is high drama because it’s big money and sports writers and media “personalities” need to make a name for themselves.

Good point but I’ll tell you Fields showed a lot of character and leadership traits with how he’s handled adversity and drama. He didn’t take the Tate bait when he transferred in - just got to work - and he demonstrated tremendous leadership during the B1G 2020 schedule mismanagement. He went Vegan to improve his body weight and he’s been dealing with a health issue that’s getting a little publicity now. He seems to be pretty driven and disciplined.

I just hope he doesn't go to Atlanta. Not that Atlanta is bad but after seeing all the issues Haskin's had being too close to the rider ons though fields appears more mature I'd rather not risk it. That's why San Fran would be perfect. Good org and way away from any potentions "cousins" etc

Yeah he seems more mature for sure but then so did Greg oden and we saw what happened there though that was more than a little adversity.

Also I selfishly want the Lions to take him but for his sake that's probably the 2nd worse choice to the Jets. Cause as I'm sure Browns fans know you bith want him on your team to elevate them and don't want him anywhere near it for the propensity to beat down talent.

Brutal landing spot for him, but good luck Justin.

That is my thought...my buddy tried to explain this away about how he loves Fields going to Chicago, but I almost wish JF would have got more money to land at the Jets because I think he is equally boned in Chicago right now. Or got less money to land in NE or something like that. I say this like a father watching over his own in the sense that I absolutely love Justin Fields and everything he did for this university, I just think Chicago spells yet another place an OSU QB falters, even Fields. I hope I am wrong though.

you know… i’m not really sure NE would been a great place… they haven’t exactly lit it up with draft picks lately and they lucked into TB…
better than the bears yea… but yeah it just sucks ….I can’t believe the broncos looked at the Qbs on the roster and said “Yea we’re good with this”. its like Elway’s ghost made that call

I can't disagree with any of that.... but I also can't get excited to have Fields in Chicago. Don't get me wrong, I think he can accomplish anything and am rooting for him no matter what. I just can't imagine a great career in Chicago, but I hope I'm wrong.

Lions, Panthers, Broncos, Philiadelphia, and Giants all look at their QB situations and said nope we like what we have. If I was fields I would use that as Fuel the only one with a guy that's been better then a top 25 QB there is the Lions and that was Goff with an offensive Guru and he came back down to earth after a good year or two. Now none of those Orgs are known as being Great for QBs but yeesh.

If you told Fields before the draft he’d be the 4th QB taken and his landing spot would be Chicago, he 100% comes back to OSU for another year.
