It was stupid for them to not play him the last series knowing they needed big chunks of yardage and rag arm Dalton wasn't going to get it done and the game was basically over.

Their Oline held up a lot better than expected so might as well put the future on in the present.

I pray that the Fields era begins after they get a decent Oline for him. That said, I’d also love to see the Bears tank the season and get CO2 or Wilson for him to throw to. Too many dropped passes from his receivers today. Or at lest, should have caught passes.

Yeah, his stats for the game are really bad; and his false start penalties sure didn't help either. However, like you eluded to, his receivers (and OL) didn't do him any favors either.
