I have to say I enjoyed this particular exchange on BWI:

I participate on a forum where there are quite a few OSU fans. There was only one defending the NCAA decision at the time I was perusing the message board. Most of the others were stating that this was basically opening Pandora’s box.

IMO, their could really hurt all college sports because if things get out of hand with players changing teams every year, there will be gradual, and possible rapid erosion of interest in college football. This loss of interest will lead to major loss of revenue and therefore requiring the shut down of all non-revenue producing sports programs such as hockey and fencing. Possibly this could even eventually include Penn State’s wrestling program. All college sports would then potentially exist only at a club level or something similar.

Wow. You really greased your shoes before going down that slippery slope.

The only thing you forgot to include is how this will lead to the destruction of the entire civilized world and that we all have to forage for sustenance like animals.

This young man seems not only to be more mature than most college athletes

Very impressive, I love it. Kid is still a teenager and I could probably take some of that advice career-wise. Seems mature beyond his years. I guess I won't make a comparison to Tathan's handling of this whole process in the spirit of what Fields said about not looking in the rearview mirror, but will just leave it at that I am glad he is going to be our QB for the next couple years.

I spitballed the math. He threw that deep ball 63 yards in the air.

I've got it at 66.5  With incredible timing.

I’ve got 59.

I went with 50 yards down field, 31.33 yards across the field (thrown 20 yards from the far sideline, caught 2? Yards from the near sideline.)

Square root of 3,481 (2,500+981)
