QB Kenny "the old righty" Guiton (WR Coach Wisconsin)

Composure. This is one mentally strong and composed person. He gets mental reps in practice and then he comes into game after game and performs at a high level. I do not think Ohio State has had a backup as capable in my lifetime. Kudos to Kenny Guiton.

Re:Kenny G. Really? Think about the original Kenny G. I'm firmly against this as a nickname.

Joe Germaine. Although I don't know how old you are.

I love what Kenny G did Saturday if he is named starter,,please don't over prepare him..just let him play and execute what he can. That will be good enough. Let him use Fields ..
Doubt they can over prepare him....seems like they've been doing the same as with Braxton except less designed runs. Just needs to synch up with the starting receivers

In 40 years of following this team, I've never seen a QB have to do as much in as little time as Kenny had to do on saturday. Great comebacks we've had, but 1989 Minnesota, "Holy Buckeye" and many others can not rival this. Frey had plenty of time to come back. Krenzel and Co. only needed a FG. I'll put it above par to Art's great final drive vs. UCLA in 1979, simply for my purposes.

What Kenneth did was simply astounding. 60 yards to go with 47 seconds and NO timeouts needing not only a TD but a 2 Pointer as a chaser? Truly phenomenol!

Hugest congrats to young Mr. Guiton for what he accomplished, and also to the TOSU staff for great play calling during this miracle drive!

Peace

i honestly think he deserves a couple drives per game. this kid has CLEARLY worked his tail off, and his mental preparation is outstanding.

there's nothing i can say that hasn't already been said, but major, MAJOR props, KG.

That's not a bad idea, as it's obvious that there will never be a controversy. It also sends a good message to the rest of the team-we like how KG does business, follow his lead if you want some playing time. Also, who knows what could happen next year (Braxton may get dinged) when the stakes will be much higher? The more experience he gets, the stronger this team will be.
