QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

Fake ass Buckeye. Fake as hell.

I believe "Fake as fuck" would also apply here...

As opposed to a couple of guys who never attended the school and just root for the football team. Okay.

The Herbie hate here is comical. The only thing about him that bothers me is his excessive use of "tempo" and related buzz words.

At least you've dropped the lie that people hate him because he doesn't wear an OSU cheerleading outfit on air.

Probably already told this story here, but I don’t care.

Herbie played football with my cousin right down the street. They were pretty good friends in high school. He lived next door to my uncle, who would always go over to to “borrow something” AKA see his “hot mom” back in the day. My uncle still mentions it every time I bring up Herbstreit.

Good times.

In all fairness, I think a lot of people don’t like the character he plays on TV, right?

Those of us who met him / knew him in undergrad days can dislike him... and in general, per my experience, be in pretty reasonable company.

I don’t recall ever looking to use the word ‘likable’ when I lived in Lincoln. For instance, Steve Tovar? Likeable. Can’t do it for Herbie.

That said, I was a bit of an ass in undergrad too... so at this point I’m happy to just rag on his Moxie-in-space.
