Visited this weekend & was offered....

Jarren Williams has offers from Auburn, Georgia, Bama, Miami, etc...

Baldwin's best offer is Colorado State.

Seems like we could get someone from Ohio to grayshirt or walk-on or something rather than reach?

If we did that, Kenny Guiton wouldn't have been a Buckeye and that's a world I don't want to live in.

Don't jump to that conclusion.

Good size, Texas state champ, decent athleticism, runs a complex HS offense, natural thrower....a lot to like about this kid. Throws well on the run, a little clunky/mechanical but for a kid whose most tape I saw was 16 or 17, that's expected.

There is a myriad of reasons why he could have been mostly overlooked; doesn't do the combine circuit, plays other sports, doesn't do 7 on 7's, etc.

There is also a very long history of late blooming QB's - in a week he'll have more offers due to this attention. His film shows he is far better than the offers he's received, sometimes players slip thru cracks. Most schools lock up their QB's 1 to 3 years ahead of time, doesn't leave much opportunity for some. CSU is no slouch either and has done a very good job at identifying QB's themselves.

I will add.. this is the same school that produced a little underrated unknown QB we all love to hate right now.... same measureables etc...
