Nate

I am Nate and I approved this message.
I know I don't post much and apoligize if this topic has been brought up in the past.

In watching this team this season with all the talent in the world, and IMO more talent than the 02 and 03 teams, I was thinking how unappreciative the majority of the Buckeye Nation was of Craig Krenzel. I've had quite a few beers tonight but I just have to say; Give me Krenzel any day of the week and twice on Sunday. What a great college QB he was.

This post in no way was ment in any disrespect to our current players. They played their hearts out tonight. This team is just missing something that the 02 team had.

The 2002 offense got to the point they knew something good would happen. Gamble,Krenzel and yes even Mo provided leadership and Big Plays. this team goes in hoping something good will happen. The team needs more leadership but this is not justa QB problem.

How much do you want to bet that Tressels lame comments will be something like.
"That's what happens when you lose the turnover battle"
or
"We just didn't execute"

No sh!T!!!!!!!!!!

What about the poor playcalling and the poor offensive scheme in general!!
Why do you throw a 1 yard pass to Roy Hall with under 2 minutes left!!!!!!!!!
What dumba$$ called that?

Tressel has never had a consistent offense and never will unless someone else takes it over.

We all miss Krenzel. Who wouldn't miss the QB that brought us a NC? Those offense were very different than what we have now. The running game was powerful and hurt the opposition. The TE's blocked and caught every thing that was thrown their way.

Damn right. Krenzel may not have singlehandedly taken over and won games, but he didn't lose them either. He was the right kind of QB for Tressle ball. Craig Krenzel is a winner, pure and simple. I don't care how ugly it is as long as there's a "w" in the stat column.

Having said that, any fair weather fans that want to slit their wrists over a couple of losses can eat shit and die as far as I'm concerned. Cheer for the home team or get the fuck outta the stadium.:osu:
