QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

10 for 10! Yes, Virginia! We have a (back up) QB! But let's give lots of credit to Ryan Day for developement of a talented kid. Tate has the heart of a warrior!

Tate Martell Sets Ohio State Passing Record In Dominant Performance

It took exactly two games for Tate Martell to write his name in the Ohio State football record book, and he did it with his arm, not his legs.

Martell completed all 10 passes he threw in a 52-3 win over Rutgers on Saturday. He is the first player in Ohio State history to throw at least 10 passes in a game and complete 100 percent of them.

The previous record-holder was Bill Mrukowski, who went 10-for-11 (90.9 percent) for 86 yards in a 13-3 win over UCLA in 1961.

Dwayne Haskins’ 20-for-23 (86.9 percent) performance from Saturday ranks just behind Mrukowski for third-best in Buckeye history.

Martell’s performance was even more impressive than it might sound initially. He did it on a rainy afternoon, and didn’t just dink-and-dunk his way into the record book.

BOOM!

This is the reason why people should be so high on Tate, his demeanor. He understands the entire process at Ohio State and he's willing to just "go get the win" no matter the stats or the people. Dwayne is going to blow shit up this year but I have a feeling Tate will leave tOSU with more lifetime fans and it's not because of the numbers
