QB Tathan Martell (transfer to Miami, transfer to UNLV)

Tate does have two working arms as well, it's not as if he's going out there only able to run. The RPO in the RZ with him is completely revamped and ultimately more opportunistic. He can make a guy miss and get loose where Dwane can not.

When shit isnt working, TRY SOMETHING ELSE
I honestly feel like the OL not being the run block worth a shit is the bigger culprit.

Is he not seeing any playing time in an effort to redshirt him?

If Haskins doesn't go Pro, does Tate transfer?

1) He redshirted last year. This year he is a rsFreshman. He'll have 3 more years for football elgibility (2019, 2020, and 2021).

2) He could transfer; however, I doubt it as he would still have 2 years left after 2019 and (yeah he would be competing with new incoming recruits, but) the starting QB job should be his to lose in 2020, etc. The kicker here is that Haskins is actually a rsSophomore and has 2 more years of football elgibility (2019 and 2020).

Of course it is. Tate's running ability could cover an occasional screw up, buy time. only in the red zone though. I definitely stay with Haskins otherwise.
In the first quarter we found our selves inside the 10 with time running out. We ran a predictably terrible play on first down, and then the clock ran out. THAT was the time. When they didn't utilize that free time out to get everybody sorted out and put Tate in for one play, I knew they weren't going to do it at all.
