QB Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP, Cleveland Browns)

Discussion in 'Buckeye Alumni' started by osugrad21, Sep 3, 2006.

  1. Low key...I'll leave that alone as he has been everything but low key, he was the main part of the Tatgate [Mark May]storm and its aftermath.

What I was talking about is how every interview I read, his answers just rub me wrong. For example, when he's confronted about the QB position and stuff, he really just acts like a turd about it. But that's just my IMO.
  2. If he can find the field due to Campbell's injury, I'll be rooting for him for sure.

I think he handled those questions pretty well this summer. It's hard to field questions from reporters about where you're going to play at the next level because you have no shot at being a QB, all the while you still believe in yourself. I guess I just don't see how you could have expected someone to handle it differently. He essentially handled it the same way Tim Tebow has, minus any Jesus references.

That is a pretty bold statement. After seeing what Tebow and Newton have done in the NFL at the QB position, I think Pryor has a good shot at turning into an NFL QB.

TP has just as good a shot as Cam or Tim. Their success (Cam's really...Tim we'll find out) will help in the front office decision making to let him develop.

Sounds to me like he's answering every question the way you want a player to answer them. He's confident in his ability but he's unassuming. Sounds like he's definitely a team player in Oakland. Anybody hearing anything else out of him has to be digging for something.
  9. Best of luck to him.

ImFrigginFly's opinion on his interview answers will have only minor bearing on his career in the NFL.

Looks like he'll get to study under the amazing Carson Palmer.
  11. If Palmer isn't a douche, he can actually be helpful to Pryor's career.

Indeed but Palmer hasn't been the same since that knee injury so I think the raiders got fleeced.

So you're saying he won't actually be helpful to Pryor's career then?

Can't blame Carson for being a douche when you have to deal with Mikey Boy.
