I thought the same thing but the headline is correct. It is his first appearance SINCE the ban has been lifted.
He was there last year but still under the ban.

With OSU Ban Lifted, Terrelle Pryor Scores Twice in Browns' Scrimmage in Ohio Stadium
Less than two weeks after his five-year ban from associating with The Ohio State University was lifted, former Buckeye quarterback Terrelle Pryor scored on touchdown receptions of 5 and 75 yards in the annual Orange & Brown Scrimmage held in Ohio Stadium Saturday afternoon.
He finished with around six receptions for somewhere in the vicinity of 135 yards, though no actual statistics were kept or made available.
It was Pryor's second time in Ohio Stadium since he was banned from the University, as he was also with the Browns last season during the Orange & Brown Scrimmage, though a troublesome hamstring kept him out of action a year ago.
How did it feel to make plays in the Horseshoe again?
"Playing in here was electric," he said after practice.
"It definitely plays from a different perspective, from a different angle. It’s great to be in this [stadium]. It’s funny because a lot of guys on my team go in the locker room and they expect it to be nicer. I said, ‘Man, this is tradition. Your schools have all the Nike on the walls probably. We don’t have to recruit like that.’ I stick up for my school. It’s great to be back. It’s a beautiful stadium."
Now that Pryor can once associate with the University, he plans on doing so. And before the scrimmage on Saturday, some familiar faces stopped by to see him.
"All I’ve heard is positive vibes (from OSU)," he said. "It was great to see Coach Luke Fickell. He came into the locker room, gave me a little dap and it was great to see him. I talked to him for a while. I saw (former Ohio State director of high school relations) Coach Greg Gillum. He used to work here, as well.
"I talk to Coach Tressel an awful lot and stuff like that. It’s great being able to communicate now, coaches not being blocked off and them welcoming me and coming to work out and be around those guys. Guys make mistakes or whatever – I could get on that blah, blah story – but it’s life. Let’s go to the next chapter."

You kids stay off my lawn!
I thought that Tressel began to bend his personal rules in the recruiting of Terrell... before and long after NLI Day, Tress was kissing the kid's ass... and no wonder, if Rich Rod had been able to coax the kid to AA, if Paterno had talked him into going to Penn State, the bucks would have been left with two years of Bauserman at QB.
While Sandusky takes Penn State away from benefiting fully from Pryor's skills, his landing in AA might have brought one or two more wins in The Game to Michigan and given Dick Wad time to put a decent team together.

Glad to see TP handle the Boone situation with maturation. Boone, while a favorite of mine just didn't need to go there with TP because as Pryor had said he was such a different person then.
Also for Boone to pretend like he didn't know TP was still in the league and acted shocked was distasteful too.
I got my only ban here for throwing TP under the bus shortly after tatgate but TP has been on the straight line since. GOOD FOR TP

Agree Pryor handled that pretty well. Say what you want about him---he's never said a bad word publicly about anything or anyone associated with tOSU unless they said something bad about him personally first. And he's taken more shit publicly from fans and former players than anyone else I can remember. He got basically kicked out of school (unfairly IMO) and he is still loyal and seems to want to atone for any mistakes he made.
Couple other things. You never like everyone on your team or your office or even in your family. I don't understand why some people act so surprised or outraged when they find out some athletes are just co-workers and not friends. It's totally fine if Alex Boone doesn't like Terrelle Pryor. And lastly, things Alex Boone says should never be taken that seriously. He has a history of blowing people up publicly and while he was a very good Buckeye, let's just say I don't think he's going to be joining Tom Herman in Mensa anytime soon.

Pretty sure everyone has their own demons to some extent and the world would be better off if all followed your suggestion for Mr. Boone. Or we can go the twitter route and abuse everyone who says anything.

There is possibly another narrative. Pryor has been well and truly humbled by his distinct lack of success in the pros. It was his ego that drove the problems at Ohio State, with the implications for the culture change that drove Tressel out the door eventually. Before we accept his claimed maturity, let's just see what happens if he starts to have a bit of success in Cleveland.
Ohio State doesn't need the corrosive influence that he once was, and that is why he was banned from campus. It's not like he's an NFL rockstar or that he brings any lessons about how to be a success in college by coloring inside the lines.
I don't harbor any ill will toward him or Clarett, but I feel the same about both. Clarett is showing consistent maturity and making some great contributions in Youngstown according to what we see on the internet.
I would really like to see Pryor stay away until it's clear that he's a changed man.
