Telecast said it was a good no-call. But you're right--we should probably take Peters' word for it. And you could at least mention Pryor burned by Peters to the tune of a good 4-5 yards before he had to slow down to catch Cousins' woefully underthrown ball. :lol:

He showed in cleveland that he's at least a sold number 2 or above average 3 receiver. And that was with a fucked up combination of Cody Kessler, Josh McCown and RG3 throwing at him. All could be decent QBs, but in the Brown's system I believe Tom Brady would have failed. IMHO it looks like he has the talent to be a NFL WR. He even had a solid week 1 leading the team in yards and receptions, then banged up his knee week 2. Hope his reunite with McCown goes well. Should jump in as the 2 receiver.

He went for the money last time and it blew up. He went for the money this time. NY media will be the most ruthless he's ever experienced.

His rep is bad decisions. I forecast he made another one. He needed to go where he's wanted. Where they would nurture and protect. Where the media is player friendly and forgiving.

The reason he was so good with the Browns was he knew Hue Jackson's system in and out. All those years as a backup QB with Hue paid off when he made the jump to WR. He knew all the routes and adjustments for every skill position on offense. That meant he could lineup anywhere on the field and knew what to do.

He knew the offense so well that he would telling the QB what to do and what he did wrong on the last play. It just was the perfect scenerio for Pryor. He will never be the most polish WR or have the best hands or be a top flight burner. The ability to move him around allowed him to win match ups and constantly have the defense guessing how they were going to use him.

I just don't think he has the time or reps to learn all positions for a new system, it will take years. Hopefully being with McCown will help at least with the chemistry part.
