Eventually you would. 100 years from now when 25 more a Buckeyes have won the Heisman. I like honoring the greats...only football number that should be retired is 45 in my opinion. But the other guys up here deserve the honor of being up there, like Troy will. Hopefully Bosa and Barrett become the first teammates to go up there.

Football is the most team oriented sport on the planet imo. If you have a RB up there, you have to have an offensive lineman too.

Troy should be up there for what he did to TSUN alone.

Sure, in 100 years there might be a need, but that bridge should be crossed when the need arises.

If Troy isn't complaining about it, I won't either. Being up there with names such a Horvath, Archie, Eddie.... just an undersized, last second QB/Ath prospect from Cleveland that became an all-time great.
I have a feeling #10 is perfectly happy just being in the conversation.

Congrats to Troy. He's a model for younger kids to emulate. Was nothing but class after owning up to his early mistakes and putting in the work to reach the highest levels of CFB. His profile is still one of the best ever shown during the Heisman Ceremony.

Orlando Pace NEEDS to be up there. He is the most singularly dominant player I've ever seen wear a Buckeye uniform. He had a friggin' statisitic established because of him.

They should unretire the other numbers if Troy's not going to get his retired. Besides, displaying the names without numbers emphasizes that tOSU and Buckeye fans care about them as people, not just players, which, nasty tweets, in-game profanities, and Bucknuts notwithstanding, I think we actually do a pretty good job of.

Would love to see Pace up there, and in the NFL HOF (borderline due to lack of longevity IMO). Although, until Gradishar's in the NFL HOF, it can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

I still dream of the day Smith gets one last chance and wins for atleast a season in the NFL. I dont even need a 'Ship, just a winning record for ONE season is enough for me. Complete shit that the only real chance he ever got was Sanfran ....
