Questions about Future OSU opponents ?? MililaniBuckeye,Oh8ch,or anyone ??

StoRMinBrutus

Great 2 B A Buckeyes !!!
Not ment as a bashing of future teams we play by any means, but if you've seen any of our future opponents. Whats there strengths and especially weaknesses, so far, that you see that possibly OSU can take advantage of ?? I have not seen any of them play and was curious.
>Northwestern : I have heard they can pass pretty well
>Wisconsin : Is Davis going to be available ?? heard he hurt his eye
>Iowa : WOW they got beat by ASU. That surprised me.. what were there weaknesses on both side of the line
>Indiana : know nothing about them this year
>Penn State: QB still seems inconsistant at time but has potential to go either way
>Michigan State: know nothing about ??
>Purdue : racking up som great passing yards but are they that good ??
>Michigan : has a real young QB with alot of potential. Offense seems to have some challenges.
I know its only the 3rd game of the year but I am just scouting them out now and curious ... Thanks for any info you may know.

Northwestern: Yeah they can pass the ball, but it's gonna be for about 3 yards per completion. Their QB will have to go 50 of 60 for them to have a chance, which will not happen.

Wisconsin: Am I just imagining things, or does Wisconsin always seem to play their best game of the year against the Buckeyes? Lately, it seems that they bumble their way to a perfect record with 11-5 stinkfests all the way up to the Ohio State game, then they turn it on against them, then they end up being 3-5 in conference play, but with a good enough overall record to still make a bowl. That said, this game doesn't scare me. It's at home, and last year's loss was a fluke anyway. By the way, is Anthony Davis ever gonna finish school? (He gets older, but the girls all stay the same age.:wink2: )

Iowa: Don't let the ASU loss fool your - Iowa will be a tough test. First of all, they got picked apart by one of the elite QBs in college football - Andrew Walter. He'll be playing on Sundays. Iowa is well coached, and will be tough to beat at Kinnick Stadium.

Indiana: Hey, they're not as bad as Illinois!

Penn State: We DO NOT lose to Penn St. at the 'Shoe. Just doesn't happen.

scUM State: They don't have the experience, talent, or consistency to be a contender, but they have enough to jump up and bite some people. I consider this to be a sleeper game, especially since it's on the road.

Purdue: Will be the toughest non-scUM game of the year. It's in West Lafayette, and as you mentioned, they're moving the ball really well so far. We'll know more about them after they play Notre Dame and the Big Ten schedule. They've looked really good so far, but it's all come against crappy teams. They have the 2nd best defense in the Big Ten, behind you-know-who.

scUM: Always the toughest game of the year. While they may lack experience or production at key positions, OSU has learned the hard way that it only takes one big play or one playmaker from Up North to ruin the season (read: Biakabatuka, Streets, Woodson). They still have those types of players in the likes of Jackson, Edwards, Breaston, and Avant. It's a dangerous game of course, but with this one being in the 'Shoe and with all the emphasis JT puts on The Game, I don't see the Bucks letting this one get away.

Purdue

I tell ya Purdues' Kyle Orton looks pretty dag smooth. He picks up defenses so well and his O-line pass blocks very well. Our defensive backs are going to definitely be busy. Could be a good day for them if they pick a few.
Illinois seems to be able to pass and especially run on Purdues defense with some success. So thats encouraging.

:osu2: GO BUCKEYES !!! :osu2:
