I dropped cigs cold turkey for about 2 weeks.. started training again.. then the booze came out and I smoked one cig. The next morning, I felt fine. That night, smoked about a half pack. Felt fine the next morning. That night, with no booze - smoked a single cig. The next morning I was jonesing for a pack.

I'm smoking again.. going to attempt to quit at somepoint when I remove my tampon and get serious about it.

Eh, probably a few days tops. One thing's for sure, whining won't help it.

Whining might score me some favors with the wife though if you know what I mean. :) Oh, it's so hard to quit. I can't take it. I'm doing this for you!!! You know what would make me feel better??? :)

Feds proposes graphic cigarette warning labels

RICHMOND, Va. ? The federal government is unveiling a new plan to snuff out tobacco use, including new larger, graphic warning labels for cigarettes that include images of corpses, cancer patients, and diseased lungs and teeth.
The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday announced new efforts to reduce tobacco use, which is responsible for about 443,000 deaths per year.
The plan is part of the law passed in June 2009 giving the FDA authority to regulate tobacco.
The new labels will be finalized by June and cigarette makers have 15 months to comply.

Without seeing them you don't know, but they may help reduce smoking.

I usually smoke 1-2 packs a day. Started the patch yesterday morning. The great thing about the patch is that I don't have the craving for a smoke. I will think about wanting a smoke but I don't actually crave it. We'll see how it is when it's time to go to Step 2.
