i wonder what porter thinks of his new teammate. he signed his contract thinking he was going to be the man.

although....porter had his best year when other defenses were focusing on rice and brown.

It's still red mccombs team untill the nfl approves the sale of the franchise. I don't think that will happen for a while -- at least till the next owners meeting. It's at the end of this article.

Officially Fowler isn't saying anything, but this certainly is a mixed blessing for the new owner.

Take a 1,000 yd per year, 16-18 TD per year man of the roster and get a #7 pick plus LB Napoleon Harris and another "late round" pick. Which doesn't sound anything like a fair trade till you factor in ...

Take one show-boating, pain-in-the-ass, supremely gifted, goofy goddamn afro haircut player and his 7.5 Million plus salary of the roster.

As for Fowler, if he hadn't loused up on the old PR scene maybe he would be in a position to be part of the decision making process. Dem's the breaks for inflating your sports background/prowess. Gotta sit on the sidelines and watch McCombs work his magic. Blue light specials in Viking-land?

This just pissed away my day. We should have drafted CJ then Beck in the second, but we did get a steal in bush. Moss will be a star for the Pat's people that say his top end speed is gone there stupid he ran a 4.28 40 yesterday. Al must have alot of confidence in Kiffin. I don't know why when every Sc fan wanted him to go because he is such a bad playcaller.

So they trade Deion Branch for a first, and they trade a fourth for Randy Moss.

They had two firsts this year, and they'll have two firsts next year. Damn.

yeah, the pats trades have been pretty strong... they'll be nasty again next year.

I won't be happy for them unless they draft a late-round Buckeye.

I like how ESPN is already talking about how Randy Moss is going to be a different (and better) person now that he's going to New England. Randy Moss isn't going to change - just like TO didn't change. Not only is he not going to change, but his bullshit is going to be more amplified than ever because he'll be on a good team on the east coast that people care about, instead of being an asshole in relative obscurity in Minnesota or Oakland.

I do hope he moons the crowd at a Jets game though. That'll be priceless.

Especially if Joe Buck is announcing. He would probably compare the incident to Pearl Harbor, or the Trail of Tears.

Anyways, Moss isn't that bad of a cancer in the lockerroom. He's flamboyant, but he only became an issue when he started losing. I think he'll be fine in NE.
