This will simply demonstrate my utter lack of NFL knowledge, or even concern, but could the Patriots re-sign for a minimum amount for the rest of the season and keep the 3rd rounder they got from Minnie Mouse?

he would have to clear waivers before they had a shot at him. well, not clear them, but like eery other team would have to decline signing him

Moss exploded with profane buffet review

Randy Moss' epicurean side had much to do with leaving a bad taste in Minnesota. Tinucci's Restaurant and Catering, which operates out of Newport and Woodbury and has been in business since 1958, hosted a buffet for Vikings players Friday afternoon. "We had the whole buffet set up, and we had a nice spread -- chicken, ribs, round of beef with a carving station, the whole deal," Tinucci's co-owner Gus Tinucci said [Tuesday]. "(Moss) he comes in, and I'm helping one of the guys and didn't look up, and all of a sudden I heard, 'What the (expletive) is this? I wouldn't feed this (expletive expletive) to my (expletive) dog!'" ... Tinucci said the locker room, filled with players, got quiet. "Nobody said anything except for one (player) who said, 'Shut the (expletive) up, Randy,'" he said.

Moss to the Titans...um, wow. I didn't think Jeff Fisher would want Moss, especially with Britt playing better and Young being the type of QB that Moss will get easily frustrated with.

It looks like Britt is out until at least week 11 with his hammy injury....maybe that has something to do with it.

He also said he'd love to return to the Vikings and seemed to randomly add he would play for the Cleveland Browns or Seattle Seahawks if they wanted him.
"Wherever it is, I just want somebody to respect what I do," Moss said. "The loyalty that I believe in, man, I think that teams that I play for ... I just like loyalty, and I want that around me. Whoever wants me, that's where I'm going to play at."
But he stressed his affection for the Patriots in particular.

Interesting that he'd throw the Cleveland Browns in there as a team he'd consider playing for.
