Had a feeling he would transfer. With Dobbins as the starter for the next 2 years then he would have to battle teague and snead (do you have a 3 sided coin). Might be one of the best players we've ever had transfer. He'll start day 1 at NC.

Getting Teague in early was probably the cause.

I kind of doubt it honestly...with the spring that Williams had, he was ahead of Teague on the depth chart. UFM talked like Williams was almost in the same pecking order as Weber and Dobbins after how far he came along this spring. That being said, tough being 3rd on the depth chart when you're that talented.

Really had a remarkable spring too by all accounts. Will always remain a fan of his as he perfectly exemplified what it means to be a Buckeye on & off the field. Very much pulling for him @ UNC and all of his other future endeavors as they lost not just a quality football player but an outstanding individual as well. Best of luck to you young man, now go out and get yours.

Always enjoyed the energy he brought when called upon. This is a product of Urban’s recruiting ability. I have no doubt, he would have easily been a three year starter, amassing 1,000 yards each season as a starter under Tress. UNC is getting an extremely talented RB. Best of luck, Antonio.

all part of the NCAA's trial, starting this year, of loosening restrictions and granting student-athletes in good academic standing eligibility right away..... I believe? ScriptOhio explains it better on pg. 10 of the thread. Has the fax and evidents to back it up......lol


Seems like a crap shoot but I'm seeing a lot more kids with immediate eligibility after tranferring for this upcoming season.
