RB Bri'onte Dunn (dismissed from team)

He's probably refering to Philly brown who was lined up at RB a quite few times

no sorry, i was referring to miller, i only joke about that because everyone wants us to have a lemichael james or trent richardson at running back, forgetting that braxton gets 100 yards a game and multiple touchdowns a game...rather have a superstar QB than a RB...

and J Hall had 80 yards in his first game back after no practice for about 10 weeks, he and braxton were deadly on some of those option runs...i dont think i would call what he did on saturday "bad"

Averaging 5.1 yards a rush is bad?

I thought he didn't have a very good burst, didn't break a single tackle, and didn't make anyone miss. Most of his yards came on option plays in which no one touched him after the pitch until he was about 5.1 (or so) yards down field. From what I saw, he fell or tripped on first contact the whole game and wasn't very good at avoiding first contact in the first place.

Rusty? maybe. Lost a step following his injury? certainly a possibility.

I thought Hall looked good. He hit the hole quickly and went North-South - no dancing.

I don't disagree with this. Do you disagree with my assessment that he didn't make anyone miss or break any tackles and was on the ground on first contact all day?

For the record, I don't think Hall has ever been particularly fast or good at breaking tackles. I have always felt his biggest strength was his vision, which is the number one thing that probably gets rusty after 10 weeks on the sideline.

To get this back on track to Bri'onte Dunn, if I had to guess what the biggest thing holding him back was, I would say knowing the playbook. Meyer said last week that it wasn't a lack of talent holding Dunn and Smith back which leaves knowing the plays as a pretty obvious reason that is- particularly after the mishaps against UCF.

I don't ever recall Hall really breaking a single tackle in his career. He had a burst off the hole, and pushed his tackler forward a yard or two and went down. To be fair about making his tackler miss, he didn't really have much lateral space as he was used mostly as a north south runner this time.

He also almost fumbled one away.

Big score or not both Dunn and Rod Smith have to be losing trust fast with the coaches.

Big game and close score I don't think you'll see either one of these two for the rest of the season unless Hyde can't go.
