RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Washington Commanders)

How nice of him to put on a show  Kid is seriously quick off the line, nobody can come close to staying with him. Showed great hands extending for the catch too...definitely raised his stock in my eyes, that is something that wasn't so apparent on film. I really want to see him in a national setting against some of the better DBs nationally but he really showed how underrated he is. Here is the article confirming Samuel dominated.

Erasmus' Curtis Samuel - the Daily News Player of the Year for the 2012 season - is considering Alabama, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Ohio State and Miami.

Erasmus Hall football coach Danny Landberg routinely calls junior two-way star Curtis Samuel the best player he?s ever coached.

The 6-foot, nearly 200-pound Samuel led the Dutchmen to the school?s first ever PSAL city championship last fall, relying on a striking combination of size and speed.

But Samuel is not just the Dutchmen?s top player ? he?s also their most highly-recruited. And last week, Samuel - along with his mother, Nicole, and Landberg - met at the Flatbush school to whittle down the player?s imposing list of possible college destinations to a final five.

And the list they came up with was impressive, befitting a player who?s been invited to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January: Alabama, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State and Rutgers.

Landberg said Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is in contact with him on a weekly basis. And Meyer has made it clear that he envisions using Samuel in the same way he utilized Percy Harvin in his time at Florida ? as a receiver but also as a threat to run the ball out of the backfield.

Harvin left the Gators as one of the most productive offensive players in school history. Samuel is flattered by any comparisons, but he wants more.

?I know how good of a player he was at Florida,? Samuel said of Harvin, now with the Seattle Seahawks. ?But I don?t want to just be as good as him, but much better. I want to be a guy who handles his business on the field and accomplishes a lot of great things in college. I?m not the kind of player who likes to talk trash and stuff like that. I just believe I can go to the next level and do the same things in college that I did in high school.?

Samuel - the Daily News Player of the Year last season - has already taken an unofficial visit to Rutgers and will be taking another unofficial to Ohio State ?soon? before figuring out what schools to visit next, Landberg said.

Rivals - Rivals Camp Series: Top athletes

5/16

5. ATH CURTIS SAMUEL, BROOKLYN (N.Y.) ERASMUS HALL
Samuel piled up a ton of offers before the Newark RCS and everyone was anxious to see him perform. Samuel's performance didn't let anyone down. Playing as a wide receiver, Samuel is more of a long strider and was very explosive heading downfield. He has very good length for someone who is 5-foot-11, 180 pounds and Samuel used that to his advantage, hauling in throws that looked to be overthrown.
