RB Dallan Hayden (transfer to Colorado)

Can't blame him, if no Judkins then he's probably not leaving. But you don't pass on bringing in Judkins, and that's coming from one of the biggest Hayden fans out there. I thought he was the best RB in our room and didn't get enough opportunities...I know I don't see him in practice every day, but on the field on game day he was damn good and he seemed like a hard worker. I hope he kills it at a team we don't ever play, I'll be rooting for him.

With last year being a red shirt, he has 3 years left?

I don’t blame the kid. I rarely ever blame them. They gotta do what they think is best but….

You got a real chance at a Natty. With expanded playoffs teams will have to go deeper into their bench. And a new OC might… MIGHT make a difference in how much he is used. Also if both co-starters leave he suddenly is the most experienced guy next year.

I woulda been really tempted to stay and then transfer next year with 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Really. He was the most effective RB we had and we neglected to use him. We're still more than ok with Hendo and Judkins (Peoples too, maybe the other portal guy). So I'm not upset with it really, just saying this kid is a stud and will probably tear it up wherever he goes. I would be shocked if that's in Ann Arbor though, why go play for the guy that screwed you in the first place?

I also think that he could have been the best back at Ohio State if Alford had given him the chance. Other players will come and go and you have to earn your time on the field, but I hate to see a kid like this not reach his dream due to coaching decisions. I hope he goes somewhere and just burns through defenses.

I can’t argue your opinion. I just really disagree. He’s a good back, but best? I don’t see it.
