Herron Explodes through the hole, and is described as a kid who will literally crawl for every inch he can get. He has great hands. He comes from a tall family so it will not be surprising to see him grow to 6'1 - 6'2 height range. Herron is fearless on defense, and shows the same never say die arttitude on that side of the ball. This writer thinks that Herron is the 2nd or 3rd rated player in Ohio this year, maybe only behind Wells. He also believes he will be a top 50 nationally rated recruit.

"Boom" is a nice, solid prospect for 07. He hits the holes as hard as anybody that I have seen, especially at his age. His game really developed as the season progressed and it showed with his 279 yard, 4 TD (3 rushing, 1 receiving) performance in week 10 @ Akron Hoban. He may not even be finished growing yet (his mom & dad are tall). WGH's 07 class is loaded, and Boom is definitely one to watch.

Next year's club is loaded with underclassmen talent, including sophomore running back Dan Herron (cousin of Prescott Burgess), linebacker/safety Sidney Glover, and linebacker David Harsch. All three of those players were starters last season, which is surprising since Warren Harding rarely ever plays it's sophomores.

Is it just me, or does he seem to play bigger than 190 pounds. He doesn't appear to have the explosion of some of the other 2007 backs like Torrance, Mabin or Saine. What is his 40 time? Is there any chance he can be 230 plus pounds by the time he's a senior and be a big bruiser, because that is what his style indicates IMO.
