Looks like Zeke is sitting out the preseason opener tonight. Romo, Dez, and Witten are too so it's probably just as well.

Went through the channels and saw Dallas, then saw Zeke wasn't playing and turned it off. Probably taking it easy on the hamstring. We'll probably see him week 2.

Sorry it's ESPiN, but these articles indicate that Zeke's contract had both offset and deferment:

The irony of it all is that the Cowboys might be playing a part in Bosa’s holdout because of their deal with Elliott.

The Cowboys have offset language in Elliott’s deal that would allow them to get out of the guarantee in the future if they cut the running back and he signs elsewhere. Also, a percentage of Elliott’s signing bonus is deferred to March 2017.
