So I am seeing breaking news that a judge has dissolved the restraint on Elliot’s suspension, so he has to sit. Lawyer people: is this the end of it now?

He still can appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. But otherwise, he's sitting.

Nope but quite frankly it's an idiotic ruling. Because if Zeke wins his case but the suspension is already been run what does the NFL owe the Cowboys and Zeke? They already got their cake and ate it too.

I'm fine with him continuing the lawsuit, but I do want him to stop pursuing the preliminary injunction. It's time to stop clogging the team down with his situation, whether he's guilty or not.

Honestly, the NFLPA's arguments in court today were trash. Incredibly weak.

It's not about the team. He should not take one for the teams sake. And quite frankly the way the NFL has acted during this whole ordeal is an embarrassement. Continually trying to tell judges how to do their job. Basically claiming they are above the law

How is he hurting his team? Scoring too many TDs?

If Ezekiel is really, truly innocent, any suggestion he should roll over and accept the penalty is absurd. Six game checks in his prime earning years. Having the stigma of domestic violence attached to his character as a person. Everything from future contracts, performance incentives in his current contract he may now not be able to hit, endorsements, which teams might choose to even bid on his services in his free agent years, future awards candidacy ... the accusation itself clouds everything and has likely already cost him multiple millions.

Fine, I'll just go to your employer, falsely claim you raped someone, and then you can be fine with your employer suspending you six weeks without pay while you try to prove your innocence. I mean, you wouldn't want to clog down your employer with the situation...

Absolutely, never accept guilt that isn't yours. Zeke is so young and he might not play for the cowboys forever. This is the kind of stuff that follows you around,if found guilty.

That's the kicker though, right, there is no guilty in a true court of law. Whether Zeke is innocent or not has absolutely no bearing on the NFL's ruling and suspension. This is purely the NFL acquiescing to what they believe makes them look good in the public eye and trying to show they are tough on abuse. The NFL being tough on abuse in an of itself is a great thing.

Which is fine. Problem here though is we all know Zeke isn’t being suspended because there’s evidence he hit a woman. He’s being suspended because there’s evidence Ray Rice hit a woman.
