RB J.K. "All Day" Dobbins (2017 B1G CG MVP, 2019 1st Team All-American, Los Angeles Chargers)

Zeke's 1st post lists him at 6'0" 195 and running a 4.4. Dobbins is listed as 5'10" 190 running a 4.3. They have similar builds with home run speed and his stride actually reminds me of Zeke. The differences: Dobbins is shorter and will likely be lighter, doubt he reaches zeke's blocking status, he's more explosive and is more shifty, not sure about dobbins as a receiver but with his athleticism I doubt he's that bad. Regardless of all the backs we're comparing him to he's a special talent and there aren't many 3 down backs with serious home run speed. I'm really enjoying watching this '17 class build momentum because it entices more elite players to jump on board. The staff is just killing it so far. I think Dobbins realized he might have a short window to make a decision with the interest that was increasing with Akers and Sermon. Zeke's success, our coaching staff and OL recruiting are other reasons helping in the decision as well.

BN $ - Kurelic's corner: Will Dobbins, Garrett and Wade stick?

J.K. says the player growth, coaching staff & tradition at tOSU impresses him the most. His mom was excited about the decision & they plan on making it up to Columbus either by the end of month or April 1st.
