RB J.K. "All Day" Dobbins (2017 B1G CG MVP, 2019 1st Team All-American, Los Angeles Chargers)

He's about the size of most RBs in college and NFL, 5'9-5'10 210+lbs, that's BS that he couldn't outrun people due to leg strides. I think he may have gotten winded at the end, but JK has burners. He's about the same size as Lesean McCoy, Deangelo Williams, Mark Ingram, Frank Gore, MJD, etc. JK is set to be a Buckeye great. And speaking of Buckeye greats, JK is the same height as Archie Griffin(he was alright 8D)

I was all ready to bring Archie up, but you beat me to it. Griffin is really hard to beat, but in JK, he may have met his match. JMHO.

As if there is any need to add to his greatness, there's this:

"So I knew that was going to happen (Strong was fired after the 2016 season and replaced by Tom Herman). And Texas A&M, not my type of school. And TCU, I liked TCU, but I didn't think they were gonna run the ball. And so I just felt like that wasn't the right place for me. And Baylor, Baylor had that scandal. So I left Texas."

USC was the only team to come close to keeping JK in check all year, and they did more than just keep him in check.

Impressive performance by their LBs.

Yep. USC sold out to stop the run and they did an excellent job stuffing almost everything. I was a bit surprised they didn't use more of the lateral runs similar to what they did against Bama in '14, but with so many defenders close to the LOS, it may have just gotten blown up.

Extremely excited to see Dobbins after an offseason of training and gaining 10 pounds. He was a beast this year and I think he will surprise even some of us with how he's going to blow up next year.
