RB Jeremiah "Boogie" Knight (Transfer to Akron, Transfer to LA-Monroe)

The change of direction is insane for Knight.... If he puts on a 5-10 more pounds and works on his top end speed boy I wouldn't rule him out.

Micky Marrotti can make that happen real quick. Really excited to see what he can do in the S&G. Anyone know if he's done camps or why he's under the radar so much. Someone posted before that they would have figured him as a 4-star had they just watched his highlights.

I'm really intrigued by this young man. He has the right attitude and like I said I wouldn't be shocked to see him make a splash for us one day. Small town or D1 HS football you don't average over 10 yards a carry if you don't have a gift.

This kids gift is his change of direction, ability to make a guy miss and then get north south. While he's quick and has good initial burst he will have to work on his top end speed. If he can do that while getting to 195-200 pounds he can certainly be a weapon.

Really pulling for him and I wouldn't be shocked to see him contribute one day. Takes a special kid to chase his dream and that's exactly what he's doing

If there's one place Jeremiah can contribute to early that would fit his current skill set, it's punt returns. In fact, I would be shocked if he didn't get the chance this season.

He has solid enough hands and as you've seen, burst and lateral movement are awesome. As for a full time move to a slot receiver spot, that's going to take some work.
He is fully capable in due time. Either way, he's in the best of hands.

All of the talk of him contributing, lets have a little perspective. He's a RB and preferred walk on. His biggest contribution will be on the scout team, most likely not in actual games. He'll help the defense in practice, but to think he's going to beat out Williams, McCall, and Dobbins is a little crazy.

Saw him while working out back home just before Thanksgiving break. For some reason it never crossed my mind to ask why he was there. He just posted a video on facebook of him training, looks to be putting on some solid and much needed weight. Just looks like he's preparing as hard as possible for next season. Kid is an incredibly determined worker and much like most every child from NE Ohio - playing for tOSU is the dream we all share.
