RB Master Teague (3rd Team All B1G)

With no one else to power it in look for Teague to find the end zone a few time.

I believe Weber is quite capable of pounding the ball in from the goaline.

I understand all 3 have their own skill set that makes them unique and special, but TBO, their sizes aren't all that different; all around 210-220 lbs. I think all 3 could be called upon in short yardage situations this year. Very versatile group of backs.

my point exactly. We have heard he is super strong. And he showed some toughness and grit in the Sping Game.... but I don't think that is enough to annoint him as the next great short yardage back at OSU. The top 2 guys will handle goal line duties just fine. Teague will get his shot.

And Williams didn't appear to be another Lydell Ross. He'd start at most B1G schools, imo
I was listening to one of the OSU football podcasts, and one of the commentators mentioned, had Williams stayed with Wisky, that there was a good chance that Taylor would be his backup(if he ended up at UW) and Williams would be the star that Taylor has turned into... I know its a big what if, but a very valid point

But in essence, Teague was THAT good, that Williams saw the writing on the wall, and Teague was not only breathing heavily down his neck, but could've quite possibly taken his role by midseason

That's why it was so sad to see Williams transfer. OSU looked like it legit had a four-headed monster in the backfield. Kind of wanted to see the Buckeyes play all four in one game just to see the look of defeat on other opponent's faces.

Since Woody Hayes, when has OSU, ever utilized more than 2 RBs??? Absolutely no way that Williams was going to see the field in any type of meaningful minutes barring injury, and even then, Teague(or Snead) could be the guy who jumped over him. OSU doesn't play the triple option, there's no way that all of them would play in one, Urban uses the RBs(2), Qb(1) and HB(1-2) to run the ball, just enough carries left for the 3rd RB in in conference and big games. Writing was on the wall. Now Teague can sit and watch, and maybe get some garbage time minutes as we await his arrival to the rotation next year with JK
