LB Steele Chambers (Official Thread)

Yes and I love it. He is a little raw at the LB position, but I think that is his future here. I thought he was just a little stiff at the RB position (don't get me wrong, still a great film) and with his body type and our needs in this class, I think he can be a terror here at LB. Reminds me a bit of Jerome Baker in the sense that he is a legit two way player that could end up at either position, but thrived at LB.

Pretty much what I thought too. Like I said previously, I think he can be a really good RB. I prefer him as a LB, but he's one of those guys that's just a pure football player and will impact the game wherever he is.

A little late to the party on this one, but a well rounded football player to say the least. Agree with both comments here makes a diving TD catch on one of the best receptions you'll ever see from a HS RB. But in the open field on offense he just doesn't show the same explosion that he does closing on a ball carrier defense. Can excell on either side of the ball but ceiling looks higher on defense.

Apparently had 180yds 4TDs last week

Had a 50yd TD run yesterday and also a short TD run(can't find his full stats), and also 2 more TDs against the 5th ranked team in their division. I may have to eat my words I wanting him at LB

Rivals - Chambers lays out plans'

Being visited by Coach Day next week & will take a second official visit to Ohio State in January. Won't be visiting elsewhere.

New NCAA rule states you can take a second official visit to a school if a head coach change occurs.
