Ready for a rematch against the hurricanes

That would be the worst combined offensive performance in the history of football. The total net yards for both teams, just might end up being negative. Who ever scores on defense first, wins the game.:dead:

Forget about it! Miami is not that good, I really didn't think Florida State could lose to them, but I forgot how horrible Chris Rix really is, and how bad of coach Bobby Bowden has become.

UVA I really think is going to get them, their at home, they can score with them, they can play defense with them, they have a great NFL style coach. If they don't NC State will.

And some people thought we had offensive line trouble. At least we protect Zwick. I'm really not sure how you can give up 7 sacks to Houston. I'd rather have our offensive problems than giving up 7 sacks to that team.

Herbstreit and Corso were arguing the other night during the game. Kirk was saying that Miami is playing just enough offense to win.(Sound Familiar) Corso was saying that Miami wasn't playing offensively like the #1 or #2 team in the country.

Miami's running game is solid and I have no idea what is up with Berlin. Trust me Canes fans hate this guy down here. What is the story with Kyle Wright? I saw that Crudup got some clean up duty but has Wright got any snaps this year?

Miami's defense looks strong as well. They are young but man can their DL and backers run. They looked very strong but will have some great tests this year in conference.

I think that Oklahoma looks the strongest and I expect to see USC get knocked off at some point.

KillerNut: "Forget about it! Miami is not that good"

Killer, can you give anybody but the Buckeyes credit? I mean, just once??

First off, Miami isn't as good as they were because of Berlin. They have playmakers all over the field and an erratic QB. But, they have a great running game to take the pressure off him. Gore and Moss are horses, and Moss is talented enough to be a future Heisman winner.

That being said, where is Miami's loss?

at Georgia Tech? Not a chance.
Louisville? Please.
at NC State? Nope.
at North Carolina? This ain't basketball.
Clemson? Doubtful.
at Virginia? Maybe. This is the one losable game.
Wake Forest? No way.
Virginia Tech? Ain't happenin. You can bring Michael Vick back for this game, and it still ain't happenin'.

Miami has one losable game, and they're gonna be heavy favorites in it. I don't see why its such a stretch to see this team in the Orange Bowl.

Gonna have to dissagree with you sloopy. While it may doubtfull, N.C. State has the stuff to beat Miami. That D could get into Berlin's head and have him blowing another game for Miami. Of course, Miami's D will certainly have an advantage, but if Amato learned his lesson about mistakes and turns to a run based, possesion offence they have the RB's to pull it off.

KSB: What would make you think that the NC State-Miami game would yield any different result than the OSU game? Could the Wolfpack do it? Maybe. Is it likely? Not a chance.

The OSU game was touted around Raleigh as "the biggest out of conference game in school history." The Pack were pumped, ready to play, were familiar with the Buckeyes, had revenge & a chip on their shoulder, were at home, had everyone from Matt Hayes to Herbie picking them, and they still couldn't get it done. It was even a gift that they got 14 points!!

Are they gonna get an experienced QB by the time Miami rolls around? Is McLendon going to be less of an immature punk by then? Heck, McLendon might not even play with his injury history. Are they gonna go from a completely undisciplined and erratic team to a disciplined composed one in that time?

No way. I don't see it. Miami should cruise with this schedule. Any loss they have this year is a big upset in my eyes.

Ironically, I was thinking if MoC was still a Buckeye, would people be saying the same thing about him? TA and MoC have certainly had some parallelled comparisons but their personalities may be the closest match.

As I type this, TA is surrounded by trainers as his forearm is giving him trouble:roll2:

For certain it would be unlikely, I just believe that the difference between OSU and Miami was better play from Zwick than Miami will get from Berlin. NCSU was blitzing from everywhere in the stadium and Zwick still kept his composure. I think Berlin will won't get the protection that Zwick got and once he starts getting knocked around he'll start giving big plays to NCSU's D. As far as McLendon is concerned I think he'll be backing up Bobby Washington by then. If Amato (BIG IF) took notes during the OSU game and decides to play run first ball control then I would give the Wolfpack a shot. Probably 1 chance in 3. But I doubt any of that will happen, and Miami will most likely win an unexciting game. I just feel that if chuck the chest pulls his head out of his ass and decides to win games instead of feed his ego he has the team that can do it.

Dan Werner came here in 02 (i need 2 vent)

What is the story with Kyle Wright?
Thats the million dollar question. Kosar is on record saying he will be a 1st round draft pick when it's all said and done. He got nothing but ohhs and awes before he came to the U. Now that he is here I havent heard anything great about him, except that he WILL be great.

Our QB coach Werner (now O cordinator) has a lot of explaining to do in my opinion. Why is Wright (according to the depth chart) not good enough to beat out Crudup and Berlin. Why has Berlin only got a tiny bit better in the THREE years he has been at UM. Why did Dorsey's numbers actually go down his senior year compared to his junior year. (No shockey, no Andre King) but come on.

SLoopy I wish I had your faith in UM because right now nothing has changed. Our offense is a complete cluster fuck. It's just a mess and it's not only Berlin, it's just about everyone except Moss and Gore. Our wide outs look terrible. Dropping balls, not getting open, running the wrong routes. They just look like they have no cohesivness with the QB. They are not just on different pages, they are on different chapters of the book on how to run a shitty offense on a top 5 team in America. And 5 sacks to HOUSTON? WTF!

The D is good but after the Houston game I saw some things I don't like. I don't know if it was their crazy offense or what but how does one do better against FSU then Houston? The D Line didn't do squat for a pash rush. Oriend Harris didn't do a dam thing all night except get a personal foul that allowed Houston to score a TD breaking the no TD streak. The line backers are young and good but i actually expected less of a drop off then I am seeing. I really thought Rocky (Roger Mcintosh) would step in and take the role of a DJ or a Vilma, and right now I am not seeing it. The corner backs are solid, I wouldn't trade Rolle or Jennings for any CB in America. Jennings will be a great cover corner in the NFL. Everyone talks about Rolle but Jennings has the skills to become the next p-buch or even better. The safeties Threat and Reddick need to sure up there tackling. It looks like they have been watching too many SeanTaylor highlights, they are not that big, wrap up and make the play please.

IMO we COULD lose to GT, NC state, Virginia, V-tech. As of right now the teams that really scare me are Virginia and V-tech.
