    Cincy.

And I don't give a crap about his "sketchy" past in Michigan.

Praise may be given if the praise is earned. Are you postulating that Martin did a great job with this search?

It's interesting that such disqualified Kelly, but a slew of kids with iffy academics/incidents is hardly noticed wrt RRod.

    No crap!

The guy's known for that. Chris Henry, and Pacman Jones ring a bell?

And don't forget about that angel Noel Devine.

Not to get too X Files on everyone, but do you think that they would hire Rodriguez to try and get Miles?

    Hear me out here:
Rodriguez comes in and tries to implement his gimicky system. Michigan gets rolled for a couple of years. Rodriguez gets fired. In comes Les Miles.

I have to go. There have been black helicopters circling over my house all day!!

Very true, like Buckeye86 said the fans are happy because it is a big name. I think the admins are happy because they now have a name they can point to as a huge poaching job - after 4 weeks of what was perceived as bumbling and complete ineptitude.

Nope, they did not truly want Miles... to the (now forgotten) groans of M fans everywhere.

No, I'm postulating that the natural thing for an OSU fan to do regarding Michigan is find fault no matter what. Even if Brian Kelly were hired (still would have been my top choice, but oh well, RichRod works fine for me) would you guys be more inclined to shit your pants and worry, or convince yourselves it doesn't matter, that Tressel will still own him? And even if it were the former, I don't think it'd be borne out on a public board.

And no, I don't think Martin did a great job with the search process, but then again he didn't hire Kirk Ferentz or Brady Hoke, did he?

RR's built WVU on being able to admit "questionable" recruits with some sketchy backgrounds.

That stuff won't fly in Ann Arbor.
