Rivals.com depth chart for opener

Fun little exercise

Just for fun, go to the depth chart that Jax posted and scroll up and down it a couple of times just looking at the #2 guys at each position. Try to forget the #1s and concentrate on only the #2s.

Pretty good team, isn't it?

Bet they could win 6 or 7 games in the Big 10 this year.

FB and punter flat out scare me.

Schnittker is absolutely not a good lead blocker, if we come out in the I with him iso blocking LB's its gonna be 2003 all over again offensively. Hopefully we see one back sets and H backs trap blocking, this team is not made for the pure I power game.

I haven't seen one positive thing written/posted about the punting yet this year and that alone is a cause for concern.

How about Vernon Gholston already making it into the 2 deep at DE? Not sure how many people, myself included, thought he would not redshirt, let alone make the 2 deep this early. He may not play much, if any, but he must have had an impressive summer camp.

Yeah, that caught my eye. We had some discussion on the Gholston thread as to whether his listed 40-time (something like 4.5, if I remember correctly) could possibly be remotely accurate for a D-lineman. This development leads me to think that maybe it is.
