2014 rankings are virtually worthless. To a large degree, 2013 rankings are fairly useless at this point since recruiting sites have only seen a small chunk of film & camp performances for the available prospects. By the end of this summer, as they head into their senior season, a large portion of the football will have performed in various camps (hosted by apparel companies, recruiting sites or schools themselves) and have submitted their film. You will still see some kids move up and down based on senior season film & all star game performances, but the changes are usually smaller since there are no longer hundreds upon hundreds of prospects popping up on the radar as quality prospects each month.
