Prayers to his family as he deals with this disease, which I know first hand can be devastating. He coached almost every sport at Grambling in addition to football, and never made the million dollar salaries the coaches in DI get today. Say what you want about the level of competition or the end of his career, but he had a remarkable coaching career and a remarkable life.

This is sad, but to me not surprising. I knew one of the managers in 1997 who said that before the Wyoming game that Eddie really didn't know where he was at the time.
