Pasting premium content from other sites can't happen. Why you don't understand that, I can't comprehend. We may "bash" Bucknuts, but we still respect their intellectual property rights. BP was created to try and create a fansite with the right atmosphere and approach, stealing from others doesn't fit into that well. Had you linked and briefly summarized instead, I suspect you would have received a pat on the back, instead of a warning. Had you contacted the person who modified your post and asked about it all, I'm sure he would have told you why he had to edit it.
The directive to remove posts that represent a tangible threat to the site's ability to operate comes from me. If you have a problem with that, then you're welcome to bring it up with me, I recommend PM but am happy to discuss it anywhere.
We make a point to provide people with a lot of leeway on the boards. Sometimes this is good, sometimes it's bad. In a case like this, you're allowed to make an ass of yourself by going off on a rage, without anyone deleting or editing it out. Why? Because they're your words. You'll find that the recruiting forum is the tightest area of the site. This is because many recruits and/or family members of recruits visit here. You can get away with a lot more in the other forums, and with almost anything in Romper Room. There is a place and a time for basically anything you could possibly want to say, you just picked the wrong place and the wrong time.
If BP isn't for you, that's fine. It's not for everyone. Feel free to pack up and be on your way. Frankly, little outbursts like this are really dragging this place down into the mud. It reminds me of BNuts, with all the fragile egos and rageaholics. If it is for you, then just try to understand that our responsiblity in the recruiting area is to the recruits and the program first, ourselves as fans second. If you are a Buckeye fan, I don't know why you would want it any other way.
