Oneshot

Goes For Three
How is it DONE?

I can't run for BEANS. Passing game, I just have to practice; I know with practice I can get it down.

Rushing? Can't. Do. It.

What am I doing wrong?? What running plays work, which dont? Do I use the stick? Do I turbo? When do I turbo?

Any tips?

Also, when you want to make a cut upfield or such, make sure you lay off the turbo. If you're running a stretch play, and have the turbo jacked, and then see you want to cut it up field, let go and make your move, then back on the turbo. With special moves, I tend to go ahead and keep the turbo on.

Main key is, watch the play develop, read the line, hit the hole. It's not the same as the old days where you could just bust thru. On this game, you really gotta let the play happen.

There are some plays in single back sets where I would recommend turbo as soon as you get the ball. Single back, trips right off tackle is an example. If you hesitate, you won't hit the hole right, if you go full bore, you're in for 10 - 15.... or 85 yards.

another suggestion:

Say you are running a hb dive. Try motioning the wr from the strong side(the side you are running too) to the opposite side of the field. If the cb follows then head towards the line with turbo and then bust it outside. Also do this on option plays and if the corner leaves there is no one out there to take you on. Just make sure you get outside the end or else you will lose yardage.

don't turbo until you are through the hole. once you turbo or speed burst, all the defensive players shed blocks and target you.
I am going to test this tactic later today. If it works, I am going to hit you with every positive rep point that I can, because I am one of those guys that hits turbo as soon as I have the ball in my hands.

You may just be my hero...Biatch.

I agree on the CB in motion, it depends on the defensive formation. I use mostly option, and I run it from the hurry up. Depending on what side of the field I am on, and the defensive formation I will then audible the direction of the option, once I do that I will send the reciever in motion, if the CB does not follow him, I send him back.

If you really want to mimic OSU, move Ginn to WR and then go to your formations, and in the I formatin substitute Ginn to QB and move your QB to WR (or your fastest WR) then you can run the hurry up, and switch back and forth formations. Ginn is unstoppable leading the option attack. I use mostly option runs out of the I and Strong.

i do this all the time when i run between the tackles.

i run some option too. i love to motion the fullback out to where i am running, or if they human is getting on to me away from the run. they start jumping the outside, slam it up inside.

osu runs really well out of the goal formation too. i used to use this about a good third of the time when i played online.

i got much better at the game when i ditched the osu playbook. i use virginia's plays and they have some nice variety along with my favorite strong formation.

two plays in particular to try.

use the hb angle out of the I form or any other angle routes. the middle of the defense is easiest to read and it is pretty safe.

use the shotgun bunch formation and call the wr unders play (i may not have the name right, but it has a bunch of crossing action and then when they clear the middle the tailback is wide open for 7 or 8 yards).

those two plays move the chains for me. i suck at throwing the bomb sadly.
