From the Virginia Preps site...Russell is already hearing from such schools as University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, University of North Carolina, Duke, Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Notre Dame, Ohio State, University of Miami, University of Alabama, Louisville, Vanderbilt, and the University of Texas. He would prefer to play QB in college. He camped last summer at UVA and Miami (FL).

From the Virginia site...Wilson is hearing from UVa, UNC, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Notre Dame, Louisville, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Georgia. Early in the process he seems to be favoring ACC schools. He has been invited to visit UNC, UVA, Michigan, Ohio State and Louisville.

From the VPI site...scouting report on Russell. His coach says he has a cannon for an arm, but some programs may shy away from his as a QB because of his height, in which case he may get looks as a corner. The schools showing the most interest so far are Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Duke, Maryland, Alabama, Clemson, and Louisville.

If he is going to be a QB in college (which he seems pretty adamant about), I see it at somewhere like VPI or Maryland or UNC. If he moves to CB or comes in as an ATH, he may have a shot at an offer from some bigger programs, based on his video and pure athletic ability (the kid is a heck of an athlete). Right now he seems to be favoring the ACC, so I would say the chances of him ending up in this neck of the woods are pretty slim. That's just may take on things...
