Rutgers Scarlet Knights (official troll of PedSU)

Don't let one Rutgers troll cloud you

I assure you... and this is from a strong sense of being right
OSU is the second favorite school in the country for Rutgers folks...
I was at that campus weekly from 2003-2007 (picking up my daughter)
I attended many games 2003-current
I have seen a large amount of OSU attire (well, until this year) on campus

so.. officially.. I call BULL[Mark May] on that troll
So guidos think we're cool? Cool.

Mascot drama at Rutgers

...the Student Assembly voted Wednesday to give the Scarlet Knight, the blue-eyed, fair-skinned university mascot, some “mascot friends.”

The university will add add homosexual, female, transgender and multiple racial incarnations of the Scarlet Knight to more accurately represent the student body...

Oh, this is going to be rich. Just how do they propose depicting gay and "transgendered" mascots without resorting to offensive stereotypes? Will the gay one be a mostly naked guy wearing a speedo and a feather boa? Or will he be matched with another "guy" mascot as he sodomizes him? I can't even begin to guess how they'll make a "tranny." Stand back, everyone. It's getting weird

Well, I think I'd start with the Scarlet Samurai for the sake of coolness and dipping a toe in the water and then move on from there. Perhaps the Scarlet Spartan could cover the male homosexual requirement without too much of a stretch as well. The Scarlet Amazon could cover women and arguably lesbians, and if you make her black perhaps other "people of color" too.

Of course, if they really want to more accurately represent the student body, just spray tan the motherfucker, give him a couple of big gold chains, and spray him down with a shit load of AXE . . .

Rutgers investigating football coach Kyle Flood for possible rules violation

NEW BRUNSWICK — Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood could face a suspension or firing because of impermissible contact with a university faculty member regarding the status of one of his players, two people with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media.

The university's office of general counsel is investigating the severity of the alleged violation, which, the sources said, is focused on an email Flood allegedly sent from a personal account to a faculty member at the university's Mason Gross School of Arts regarding the status of Nadir Barnwell. The junior cornerback is reportedly in danger of being deemed academically ineligible.

The two university officials, who are not directly responsible for matters related to the athletics program yet have knowledge of the investigation, were not authorized to comment on the investigation. They spoke to NJ Advance Media on the condition of anonymity. One of the people with knowledge of the situation told NJ Advance Media the investigation is expected to be concluded quickly.

Kyle Flood reacts to report he is being investigated by Rutgers

PISCATAWAY – Kyle Flood defended his behavior Tuesday in response to a report that he is being investigated for possible impermissible contact with a university faculty member.

At the crux of the investigation is the content of an email Flood allegedly sent from a personal account to a faculty member at the Mason Gross School of Arts regarding the status of Nadir Barnwell, as first reported by NJ Advance Media.

Barnwell, a Piscataway native and the team’s top cornerback, is known to be in jeopardy of being ruled academically inelgibile.

Flood could face a public reprimand, suspension or termination from his contract if his action is found to have been in failure with compliance, the report said.

“Let me start by saying I'm disappointed at the tone of the article that (media relations official) Hasim (Phillips) showed me this morning,” Flood told reporters before practice. “I've been the head coach now this is going into my fourth season and I've had a lot of interaction with the teachers on our campus.

“I think that that article not only insults my integrity but it insults the integrity of our faculty. I've come to realize that our faculty here at Rutgers is beyond reproach and I have a tremendous amount of respect for them. Our faculty are a part of our program. Just as recently as the other day, we had two faculty members at our practice.”

“Any correspondence that I had with a professor in regards to a student-athlete would really be of this nature. One, to be in support of whatever decision that faculty member made. And two, to inquire as to whether or not there would be an opportunity to earn a better grade. This practice is not unusual at Rutgers. Many students all over campus receiver what are called”'t grades" -- doing work outside of when the class ends that semester to earn a better grade.”
