DONTE WHITNER THINKS OHIO STATE WILL REPEAT THIS SEASON, THINKS JIM HARBAUGH IS A 'GREAT MAN'
When most #brands or celebrities take to Twitter for a crowd-sourced Q&A session, it ends in debauchery and ridicule. Donte Whitner is capable of decapitating a man with legal NFL hit, however, so it's probably no surprise his session went swimmingly.
Among other things: The 2014 Pro Bowl safety has OSU tabbed for a repeat, the Browns as being good, and Travis Benjamin being the team's most improved player.

So instead of having an old bad team, the Browns will have a young bad team. Which is, in fact, somewhat marginally better. But in the process, the Browns are losing a three time Pro-Bowler who finished second in the team in tackles.

Donte Whitner is back in our lives.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that the Washington Redskins are signing the former Pro Bowl safety to a one-year deal.
A street free agent, Whitner had worked out for the Giants,Panthers and Rams since being released in April by Browns. The 31-year-old defensive back spent the past two seasons in Cleveland after long stints with the 49ers and Bills.
Washington general manager Scot McCloughan knows Whitner from their time together in San Francisco, and might view the veteran as a potential starter over strong safety David Bruton, who has been hideous against the run and pass.
