San Francisco 49ers (official thread)

Worst 31-13 win ever

Bosa - ACL
S. Thomas - ACL
Mostert - Strained MCL
Garoppolo - high ankle sprain

Those on top of Sherman and Kittle already dinged up. Deebo Samuel, too.

Yikes. Just have to hope a patched together roster can squeak into the playoffs at this point. Fuck 2020.

That was a truly putrid performance by Mullens. That pick in the red zone was high school-ish
It was baaad...but the OL performance was just as bad. Williams and McGlinchey should have to return their game checks for that bullshit. He had guys in his face the whole game. Beathard surprised me.

Too many injuries. I'll be surprised if they can get a wildcard.

Yeah. McGlinchey is pretty solid overall but also pretty underwhelming when you are talking about a top 10 overall pick
The line play has been very spotty. They look great for stretches, then like a sieve for stretches. They were a sieve for pretty much the whole Iggles game. It was as bad an OL performance as I've seen in a long time. The Iggles have a strong DL, but not THAT good. I suspect the inconsistent OL play is a function of the play-calling, which hasn't been as diverse with all of the injuries. Defenses are just pinning their ears back and bull rushing them.

As had been expected since Santa Clara County announced on Saturday new COVID-19-related restrictions that prevent contact sports in the county for at least the next three weeks, the Niners announced Monday morning that they will hold their next two games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Monday's announcement means the Niners will "host" the Buffalo Bills for Monday Night Football on Dec. 7 and the Washington Football Team on Dec. 13 in Arizona.

The Glendale 49ers......

This season has been a crap sandwich from week 1 with a near non-stop stream of injuries, but the biggest bright spot has been the emergence of Brandon Aiyuk. I wasn't sold on him in the first round, but he already looks like the best receiver we've had since T.O...or at least the most talented.

For the league not having much money there seems to be a lot of stupid money flying around out there. 6 years for a guy that's 32? I'm sure there is some cap ninja shit going on, but 55M guaranteed seems crazy.
